The tutorials include two options to create the threads: Sweep and Feature.
Sweep takes a little longer to complete but has greater control of thread clearance.
Feature uses SOLIDWORKS thread feature. Then, Indent feature to cut threads in Lid. The Indent does not cut all thread clearance values. This method is much easier.
